01 · The problem

Why federal revenue
stays at zero

The Department of War buys from companies like yours every day. Most mid-market firms never see that money. The product is rarely the problem; the path to the buyer is.

01

No map to the buyer

Program offices, PEOs, COCOMs, primes, resellers. Finding the one office that has money and a need for your product takes years if you guess.

02

The compliance maze

SAM and UEI, CMMC, FedRAMP, Section 889, TAA. Most of it is less work than it looks, but nobody tells you which parts the first contract actually needs.

03

The $300K bet

A full-time federal account executive costs over $300K a year fully loaded, before they sell a dollar. That is a big wager on a market you have not tested.

04

Long, quiet cycles

The traditional route takes 18 months or more. Faster entry points exist (SBIR, CSOs, OTAs, reseller paths), but you have to know where to look.

02 · Federal Growth

03 · Paths to award

The fastest route to
your first federal dollar

There is more than one door into the Department. We pick the one that fits your product, your cash and your timeline, and we tell you plainly how long each one takes.

1

SBIR / STTR

Non-dilutive R&D funding that can lead to Phase III production work with no new competition.

2

CSOs & OTAs

Commercial Solutions Openings and Other Transactions, built to buy commercial technology quickly.

3

Resellers

Established resellers, contract holders and cloud marketplaces that already sell to the buyer.

4

Prime teaming

Subcontract and teaming roles with primes that need your capability on their programs.

5

Schedules

GSA and other vehicles later, once there is past performance to stand on.

04 · Mission technology

Cybersecurity. Responsible AI.
Modernization.

Selling to the military often means proving you can protect the mission and use AI with discipline. Our technical bench supports clients directly and helps them get ready for federal buyers.

Cybersecurity

  • Strategy and governance: risk briefings, roadmaps, policy and control alignment
  • NIST CSF 2.0: current and target profiles with a prioritized action plan
  • Secure architecture: identity-first access, zero trust, segmentation, logging
  • Incident readiness: tabletop exercises, playbooks, recovery priorities
  • Defense supplier readiness: gap reviews, including CMMC readiness support

Responsible AI

  • AI readiness: mission-workflow assessment and use-case scoring
  • Governance: inventories, approval gates and human review (NIST AI RMF)
  • Secure knowledge assistants on approved data with least-privilege access
  • Testing and assurance: accuracy, bias, security, drift and cost
  • Edge AI integration, training and adoption programs

Modernization

  • Enterprise architecture and capability mapping
  • Data modernization, governance and analytics readiness
  • Cloud, hybrid and edge migration planning
  • Systems integration and interoperability
  • Program leadership, design reviews and vendor evaluation
05 · Who we work with

Built for the
mid-market

Roughly 50 to 2,500 employees, or $10M to $1B in revenue. Series A and later is fine. We say no when we cannot help, because that protects your money and our name.

A strong fit

  • ✓Your product is in production, not just on a slide

09 · Straight answers

What founders ask us

"Federal takes forever."

The traditional path does. We start with SBIR, CSO, OTA and reseller paths that are built to move faster, and the Snapshot gives you a realistic first-dollar timeline before you spend anything.

"We'll hire a federal AE later."

That is the right move once there is pipeline. A full-time federal AE costs over $300K a year fully loaded before they have sold a dollar. We build the pipeline that justifies the hire, and we can help you make it.

"We're not compliant."

Most companies are not at the start. The Snapshot shows exactly what your first contract path requires, which is often far less than FedRAMP High, along with the cost and time for each item.

"Our head of sales owns revenue."

Good. Federal Growth adds a channel to their number; it does not compete with it. We work alongside your sales leader and report into the same plan.

"Who owns the relationships?"

You do. Every contact, opportunity and partnership we build belongs to your company. We take one client per product category, so we never sell for your competitor.

"How much of our time does this take?"

About two hours a week from one product or technical person. We do the rest.
